Champagne Crystal Earrings

Posted by: Jenni @ 9:52 am

One of my favorite crystal shapes are these rondels. Swarovski makes the most beautiful ones – intricately faceted and in the most wonderful colours. This is a pair of bridal earrings I made for Anna, who wanted these in a champagne colour on 14ct gold.

Posted by: Jenni @ 9:58 am

I just love the combination of Green and Blue and I think it works perfectly with these pearl earrings. I’ve made them on 14ct gold which adds a rich dimension to the equation. For earrings like these contact me at jenni@twinkleberry.co.uk

Silver Disc Cluster Necklace

Posted by: Jenni @ 2:27 pm

This is another version of a Cluster Necklace that I featured a couple of days ago. This one uses similar colours (because they are my favorites!) but has a smaller smoky quartz disc and the feature piece is a brushed Sterling Silver Disc.

Brown Heart Cluster Necklace

Posted by: Jenni @ 9:58 am

I found these lovely little glass hearts, no, they aren’t Murano Hearts, but they are so pretty. They are dinky, only 16mm long and I couldn’t resist them………..

I’ve put them on a silver chain and clustered some swarovski crystals above the heart. they are available in this brown, cranberry, aqua blue, pale green and pale pink and ruby red.

Sunshine!

Posted by: Jenni @ 9:16 am

I am so enjoying these last couple of days of sunshine, why is it that the blue sky and warmth of the sun makes such a difference? I know that I feel so much more positive and energetic when it’s clear and sunny. Living in the U.K. makes you appreciate these glorious days.

I couldn’t resist these photo’s this morning – the view from Brush Cottage.

Flowers For Rosy

Posted by: Jenni @ 7:25 am

These flowers are for my very lovely sister Rosy. Rosy lives in Australia where Donna Hay is a household name. As a food editor and cookbook author she has inspired us both

Although her cookbooks are readily available here in the U.K. she also produces a fantastic bi-monthly magazine, which is not easy to find. Only excellent bookshops have it – and I found my very first one at Selfridges.

Well, my lovely Rosy has just given me a second years subscription to the magazine for my birthday! Thank you Rose, I absolutely LOVE receiving my copy!

Cluster Necklaces

Posted by: Jenni @ 9:01 am

I love Cluster Necklaces. I think it’s because I can put lots of components and colours together and not have to choose just one!

They are very popular at the moment and I really enjoy it when someone comes to me and asks for colour combination’s that I would not normally choose. The results are always exciting.

This particular one is a definate favorite – the rich brown of smoky quartz combined with olive green and blue – you just can’t go wrong.

Red Murano Heart Necklace

Posted by: Jenni @ 9:48 am

I used to have a lovely Brown Murano Heart Necklace on the site – which was perfect for winter wear, but sadly the heart was discontinued and  I have struggled to find a replacement for it ever since.

Well, I think I have it – tell me what you think? This postbox red is such a sumptuous colour and would be perfect for valentines day, Christmas and whatever comes in between!

Rose Quartz Necklace

Posted by: Jenni @ 11:50 am

I found these lovely Rose quartz rectangles some time ago and couldn’t resist them – Why? I don’t know as I am not very fond of Rose Quartz. It’s a very tricky colour to wear unless you are tanned or naturally dark skinned or you have the famed English Rose complexion – I don’t fit in to any of the above categories!

I think I liked these as they are an unusual shape and are so nicely polished, they are absolutely perfectly smooth. Anyway, they have been lurking in my stash of stones and when I came across this chain I just knew they would be perfect.

I am loving incorporating stones and other components into chains at the moment – perhaps you noticed this…….? I think this necklace came out wonderfully and I am re-thinking my opinion on Rose Quartz!

Mother of Pearl Necklace

Posted by: Jenni @ 3:26 pm

I bought some strands of the most beautiful Mother of Pearl at a jewellery exhibition I went to recently. I’ve used one of the strands for this necklace which will be wonderful for the cooler months when we all wear our autumn colours.

It’s full of browns and greens and I have added some of my favorite Rose Gold Beads and a Rose Gold Clasp. The mother of pearl has such a gorgeous shimmer and are reassuringly heavy and so I have strung them in the traditional way of stringing pearls – which is to knot between each one. It’s a labour and time intensive way of stringing, but it’s worth it as it allows the necklace to drape perfectly and should the strand ever break you will not loose all the lustrous pearls.

As this is a one off piece it will not be added to the Twinkleberry site, so contact me at: jenni@twinkleberry.co.uk if you love it and would like some more information about it.

Briolette Cluster Earrings

Posted by: Jenni @ 3:41 pm

Ah, well……I can’t believe that I am being asked for autumn colours already….. have we even had a summer this year?

Hayley asked for some earrings in greens and browns and loves briolette shapes. These cluster drops are made with swarovski crystals – with a baby briolette at the ends.

Borough Market

Posted by: Jenni @ 9:07 pm

A weekend to London is never complete without stopping in at Borough Market on a Saturday morning. You might think that it’s the freshest of fresh vegetables that would catch my eye, or the selection of freshly baked bread, the tastiest olives? no………..it was this veritable mountain of chocolate brownies!
