I love wearing Lariats, they are so versatile, drape beautifully and each one can be slightly different making it an individual piece. I am often asked for advice on how to wear them. This is what works for me:
Fold the length in half, so that the 2 end pieces are in one hand and the looped end is in the other hand.
Put the doubled strand around your neck and thread the 2 end pieces through the looped end. Adjust to the length you prefer.
It’s very similar to the way you wear a scarf.
I also recommend that you look in a mirror when putting them on or taking them off, that way you can see which way through you put the end pieces.
I wear them a lot obviously and so am in the habit of always threading them through in the same direction, which helps.
This picture is of a bespoke Lariat that I made for a client recently.

Twinkleberry all happens from a studio in my cottage in Upham. To find it, you have to navigate a narrow, leafy, pathway and before you know it the foliage opens and you arrive at Brush Cottage! It’s a typical, pretty English cottage and I love that we are hidden away from the rest of the village.
